Hello everyone,
Please check out the following link to the Richmond Audubon website that provides information, pictures and videos of the April 11th Growing Greener Presquile NWR tree planting TogetherGreen event: http://www.richmondaudubon.org/IBAStuff/ToGreenPresqsle.html . It was a great day for land and bird conservation, and the on-the- ground conservation action taken by the volunteers will benefit birds for a long time to come.
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make this event happen, and to Bob Schamerhorn for taking the pictures and videos. Also, many thanks to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and to McGeorge Toyota. We have 2 more events this Saturday if anyone is interested in getting back out there. I’m happy to send information,
