Paddled Harriosn Lake last night at sunset. Loud choruses of cricket frogs. The dominant bird call was definitely the Great-Crested Flycatcher "wheeping" from put-in to take-out. The absence of any sort of swallow was a surprise. The beavers have been busy and gave me an occasional tail slap to "back-off." A very peaceful paddle with a sky full of wispy clouds which gave way to an awesome sunset. My FOS Wood Thrush serenaded me into the take-out.
