Wrapped up 2007 with a Saw Whet owl in my hand after it hit the net in Powhatan just in front of midnight. A recap-previously banded in Pennsylvania in 2006. Last night had to be the most beautifully star-filled sky I have seen all year as well as an incredibly large waning crescent moon.
