[va-richmond-general] Eastern Shore


Ben and I went to the Eastern shore over the weekend.  

Highlights:

        Great Cormorants on CBBT islands #1 and 2
        Robins, Juncos, Phoebes, Chipping Sparrow, Thrasher, Common
Yellowthroat, Song Sparrows and Flicker on CBBT islands
        Black Necked Stilts at Chincoteague
        Snowy Owl at Chincoteague
        Piping Plovers at Chincoteague

It was a treat to see Piping Plovers and Snowy Owl within feet of each
other.  (Hope that Snowy Owls don't eat Piping Plovers!)
