The weather on Bear Mountain has changed drastically in the past 12 hours. It
rained last night with warmer temperatures. Now the temperature is rapidly
dropping and all the rain accumulation has turned to ice. And now it's snowing!
Joining the regular b.c. chickadees, juncos, w.b. nuthatch, downies and
goldfinches, I spotted one lonely female Pine Siskin. And it fought off
everything else at the feeders!
