your e-mail on the bird migration was outstanding. if anyone has a boat tail
grackle group in continuous observation and has interest in an animal
communication project and network, e-mail when i reopen the mail box in two
weeks. read ICJ 1 and 2 at groups google sci.bio.ethology "ENDANGERED SPECIES'.
many birds are capable of communication, the logger head shrike for example,
florida shrikes associated with the grackle project would at their leisure
repeat morse-grackle during relevant situations. i left a consumed can of chili
beans with attached lid down inside my garage door overnite. at 7am the local
shrike greeted me from the telephone wire above the fence gate with a creak,
creak( pause) creak. the extra creak in grackle morse being "to the [point". on
seeing the can and raising it from the floor i found a delectable can of
palmetto bugs. good eyesight!!
