I went to O-Hill this morning, arriving at 7:00. By 8:30 I hadn't seen a
single migrant except for one Worm-eating warbler-which may not be a migrant. I
left there and went west on Fontaine St past the Hwy29 exit about 2 blocks to
an old abandoned motel on the right side of the road. There is a 200yd trail
to walk there and about half way along it I got great looks at two Wilson's
Warblers, an adult male and either an adult female or first year male, about
20ft
up in scrub trees gleaning caterpillars. They were very unconcerned about me.
Also seen here were: Black-throated Green Warbler, Yellow Warblers(nest here
in the willows), Eastern Pheobe, Flycatcher sp.(probably Acadian), Scarlet
Tanager, House Finches(6), Tree Swallows, Green Heron, Red Shouldered Hawk,
Carolina Wrens, Chimney Swifts, and a Mallard hen. Dave White Zion Crossraods
