Here in Vienna, Fairfax County, I had my first of the season House Wren
yesterday along with Common Yellow-throats at Foxstone Park. Also present
were FOS Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, and Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
Yesterday and today Red-breasted Nuthatches continue and the Red-shouldered
hawks nesting in the park appear to have abandoned their nest and were seen
building a new nest. Purple Finches were at the feeder this morning.
