[va-bird] Tricolored Heron at Staunton River State Park

Greetings to all:

This morning at Staunton River State Park on 08/13/06 at 1100 hours I found
a Tricolored Heron and a single Bonaparte's Gull.

Shorebirds found were as follows:
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1
Killdeer - 40
Sanderling - 2
Spotted Sandpiper - 5
Pectoral Sandpiper - 10

Other shorebirds were seen to far out to id.

Other birds of interest were:
Bald Eagle - 3 (1 adult, 2 immature)
American Crow - 50
Double Creasted Cormorant - 2
Great Blue Heron - 15
Great Egret - 40
