Todd, Glad you enjoyed Giles County. I would love to share some of my
favorite spots with any VA Birders when you all venture to our end of the
state. Glen Alton is another great place which has been opened to the
public in the last few years. The elevation there is approximately 2600'
and we have had 6 singing Blackburnians on territory this summer as well as
Black-throated Blue Warblers and Veeries. There are Golden-wings on the
road to Mt. Lake too.
