Sure, I've seen waxwings before, but they're one of those birds that I still
consider "rare" for me - I seem to only get to see them once or twice every
year. Last year I was happily surprised with a flock of them in a tree way out
behind our house.
THIS year, they came RIGHT to a cedar tree in our little backyard!!! They only
stayed for a half hour that I could tell, but I was able to catch some great
photos of them:

Digiscoping has added a whole new dimension to my birding - now I can remember
EXACTLY what I saw for many days and weeks to come! And they were so
cooperative with me too. :)
I can almost feel the Spring birding excitement building...
