One hour and five dollars from 3:03pm, there was no sign of the Snowy
Owl near the parking garage viewing area. There was bird activity in
NW treeline but not close enough for a good view. I waited just long
enough to see if the drop in temperature and the incoming clouds would
bring anyone in for feeding on the runway.
There were lots of people watching airplanes with binoculars, and who
were denying any interest in the birds.
A kettle of 15 black vultures were circling over Route 28 one mile
from the airport Rte. 267 exit ramp.
Heading off Route 28 on the ramp for 66 East there was a red tailed
hawk resting on the light standard.
