All,
I spent a couple hours in the meadow at Riverbend this morning. Things
started out slow but picked up when the sun finally broke through the
clouds. I had eight species of warbler including Magnolia (4),
Nashville (1), Redstart (3), Chestnut-sided (3), Common Yellowthroat
(many), Canada (1), Black-throated Green (2), and Yellow (1) (odd to see
one here). Also several Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Great Crested, Least
and Yellow-bellied Flycatchers, Eastern Wood-Pewee, and the other more
usual suspects. First time in several weeks of birding almost every
morning that I haven't seen at least one Black and White Warbler.
