Hola,
I stopped by the regular haunts in Remington last night and can boast that I
found no unusual shorebirds in about two hours of searching. Horned Larks,
Killdeer, and Mourning Doves are about all that are using the sod fields
right now. Amazing is how fast the grass grew there since my last visit.
What
was dirt only a week ago is now an inch or more of grass.
While this has nothing to do with birds, if you're heading toward
Gainesville this weekend, or through (or near it), there is a Wawa there that
has
regular unleaded for $2.29 a gallon. It's on US 29, about a mile-and-half
south
of I-66. For full disclosure, I am the CEO of Wawa, and I make about a dollar
on every gallon we sell, so get out there and buy.
Cheers,
Todd
