Today was a working day for me while some of the Augusta Bird Club members were
out & about counting for our annual '' Big Spring Day '' . Well after work I
decided to check out some of the local ponds to see what the weather system
dropped on us .John hope you can use some of this . Below is a list of what I
saw & in what areas of the County.

On Rt . 707 dirt road -- I found 1 Loggerhead Shrike & thru out the Swoope area
I had a total of 27 Meadowlarks , 69 Red -- winged Blackbirds, 97 -- Grackle ,
14 Cowbird & when I was working & driving down I 81 I saw 2 Cooper Hawks flying
near the cell tower on my property. I did not count everything because I do not
know if these areas were covered early in the morning .
