We have recently moved to a new lakefront development in Powhatan County.
The lake is small (about 25 acres) and since we moved in we have seen two
adult Bald Eagles regularly. The neighbors tell us that they raised two young
this year.
At present only one side of the lake is developed but, there are plans to
develop the opposite side. What is the status of Bald Eagles as regards
development in nesting habitat?
