This morning, Friday 22 April, I spent 1h 25m (07:25 - 08:50) watching
some nice bird activity atop Observatory Hill (O-Hill) in
Charlottesville. The weather was cool and calm, with the cloud deck just
above the hill. Among the 27 species I observed were 1 INDIGO BUNTING, 2
WORM-EATING WARBLERS, 1 BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, numerous (30+)
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, 4 BLUE-HEADED VIREOS, and 2 BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHERS. I also heard a couple CHIMNEY SWIFTS somewhere in or above
the clouds.
