(second attempt. I don't know what happened the first time.) Things got off
to a slow start at NY Monuments this morning. (Manassas Battlefield NP,
Prince William Co.) As the cloud cover dissipated and the fog burned off, at
about 7:45 the birds came in, not in huge numbers, but a couple of
highlights, including a Cape May Warbler, Red-breasted Nuthatches, heard and
seen, and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. Some may have seen a Blue-winged, but not
me.
