On Sunday Nov 12 was a beautiful day while birding Route 605 is in
Northumberland County and Fleets Island is in Lancaster County and great to be
outside. There was a slight breeze but just enough to keep cool and very
sunny. After birding on Route 605 on Mill Creek, my wife Sue and I went
kayaking around Fleets Island. We also walked the Island, there is a long
sandy beach and a large marsh. The island is a mix deciduous and conifer trees
with many snags. While on the island we were looking directly into the sun, so
many birds went unidentified, however for the most part I believe they
unidentied birds were Blue Birds, Yellow Rumps and members of the Woodpecker
family.
