The past few days have brought lots of migrants to our place here at White
Marsh in Gloucester County. Most of the birds were sighted between 7 and 8
a.m. while we ate breakfast in the sunroom. They were:
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Swainson's Thrush
Veery
Red-eyed Verio
Acadian Flycatcher
Phoebe
Warblers: Blue-winged, Black-throated Blue, Black- throated
Green, Worm-eating, Common Yellowthroat, Black & White and Blackpoll.
The 15-20 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds we have enjoyed for the past month have
decreased to seven. We are also seeing lots of young Goldfinch begging their
parents for food.
