I got out this evening for the first time in what seems like a long time. I was
at Sunrise Valley Park from about 5:30 to 6:30. As Kurt mentioned in his post,
sparrows were the birds of the day:
White-crowned Sparrow (imm.) - to the right of the boardwalk, on the hill in
front of the building
Lincoln's Sparrow - left side of the park, where the phalarope was seen this
spring
Chipping Sparrows (3) - near the White-crowned
Swamp Sparrow - near the Lincoln's
Song Sparrows
Palm Warblers (2 yellow)
Yellow-rumped Warblers - lots
