I ran into Kurt Gaskill, Linda Millington, and Bart Hutchinson at
Leesylvania SP this morning, and while we did not witness a heavy
fallout of migrants, there were quite a few birds present with good
diversity, making for a very enjoyable morning in gorgeous weather.
Highlights were 16 species of warbler, yellow-bellied sapsucker, both
kinglets, Swainson's thrush, rose-breasted grosbeak, and savannah
sparrow. Here is what we saw (number are approximate):
