While hiking the Snead's Farm Loop Trail in Shenandoah NP yesterday, 11/13/10,
we found a Lapland Longspur near the trail entrance off of Skyline Drive. The
bird was apparently injured and didn't seem able to fly. It could still
flutter and was hopping around in the leaf litter. Pictures will be available
to anyone later today.
