LeavesAn early morning check of the very low Lake Anna revealed the
following shore birds: Four Solitary sandpiper (at least), two Spotted
sandpiper, 30 Killdeer (approximately). Also, two Great Egret and at least
18 Great blue heron. All observed on the "newly" exposed mud flats at the
very Western end of the Lake just west of the Rt.522 bridge. Observers were
George Harris and Jim Ford.
