[va-bird] LA Waterthrush & Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in Arlington (Late report for 4/5)

VA Birders,

    The 8 NVBC members on our monthly walk at Long Branch Nature Area, 
Arlington, on Wed., April 5, found 34 species of birds.  Highlights included a 
LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, and 2 pairs of WOOD DUCKS at 
Sparrow Swamp on the W&OD Trail, and a HERMIT THRUSH near the picnic shelter 
west of 
the bridge over 4 Mile Run.  (We include Glencarlyn Park and the adjacent 
section of the W&OD Trail in the Long Branch Nature Area.)  For more
