Howdy all,
Well, we got in almost two full hours before the rain and showers put a halt
to the banding for the morning. So we really didn't catch a whole lot this
morning. In fact, 8 was all we could muster, but to was composed of 7 species
at
least. We did catch our first YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER of the season. I hope
the rain holds off tomorrow morning, if it does, we could have a few more
birds than we have been having.
At least it is cooler outside right now and that, I will not complain!
Todays totals 8/23:
Redstart 2
N.Waterthrush 1
Ovenbird 1
Yellow-breasted Chat 1
Traill's Flycatcher 1
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher 1
Blue Grosbeak 1
TOTAL ------------------------ 8
Cheers,
