Howdy all,
Today was another nice day at the banding station. We ended up banding a
total of 253 birds today of 25 species (I think). We added three new birds to
the
season species total, ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, LINCOLN'S SPARROW, and
SLATE-COLORED JUNCO. Once again, we had a nice mix of birds and finally a few
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS showed up today. We also caught our first NORTHERN
WATERTHRUSH
in a few weeks today.
It was a nice day at the banding station and we had quite a few visitors
again today. Sure hope tomorrow is just as nice!
