We did the Kiptopeke Challenge over the weekend. Our area was strictly the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refure. While passerines were virtually non-existent, others birds were good. A decent hawk flight also went through. Following are our results. A good hawk migration was visible for a little over an hour at the Visitor Center Parking Lot from about 1130-1300.
