We did the Kiptopeke Challenge over the weekend. Our area was strictly the
Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refure. While passerines were
virtually non-existent, others birds were good. A decent hawk flight also
went through.

Areas birded - we did only the Eastern Shore of Virginia NWR walking the
Butterfly trail, the trail to Wise Point, checking the ponds, marsh, and
boat launch areas in both the morning and the evening. A good hawk
migration was visible for a little over an hour at the Visitor Center
Parking Lot from about 1130-1300.
