This week I've been without a vehicle, so I've had to satisfy my
birdwatching itch at the Virginia Tech Duck Pond (several times each
day).  It's been interesting to see when certain birds move through and
how long they stay.

A particular warbler that arrived Tuesday afternoon and was still
present Wednesday morning appears to be a striking Nashville Warbler.
It has a distinctive white eye-ring, yellow underside (including the
throat), and a grey face/head which contrasts with the throat.  However,

it has been consistently singing what sounds to me like a Yellow Warbler

song, as opposed to the Nashville song that starts with "seeta seeta
seeta."  Maybe my ears are simply not attune to the details of warbler
song : )
