This morning, 16 Huntley Meadows Monday Morning birdwalk participants tallied
53 species. The weather was bright, calm and heating up fast. The most
noteworthy news seems to be a glossy ibis flying low over the central wetland,
and an unusually large number of common Grackles. We estimated that there were
more than 50.
