Gentle Readers,
Harry Glasgow and Barbara Perry led the Monday Morning Birdwalk at Huntley
Meadows Park this morning, November 14, 2005. The combination of bright
sunshine and light fog rising over the hay-colored grasses on the meadow
produced a very mellow scene. The birds seemed to appreciate the splendid
vista. A late Chimney Swift was seen at the Tower.

Huntley Meadows Park can be reached from the Beltway by driving south on US
Route 1 approximately three miles to Lockheed Boulevard. Turn right on
Lockheed Boulevard and proceed to the intersection of Lockheed and Harrison
Lane. The Park entrance is on the left.
The regularly scheduled Monday Morning Birdwalk is open to all; the group meets
at 0700 in the Visitor's Center Parking Lot.
