Yesterday evening when the clouds started lifting, there was a pair of Hooded
Mergansers on one of the abbey ponds, as well as 8 Canada Geese. I also counted
40-50 Robins in a couple of flocks eating sumac berries, as well as over a
dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers.
This morning there was a female Harrier hunting the hayfields.
