Weather:
Lovely Indian summer day (spring peepers calling); early clouds gave way to
blue skies, light winds.
Raptor Observations:
Lots of cropped out accips again.
Non-raptor Observations:
R-c kinglet; a few pipits, bluebirds, goldfinches, pine siskins, and a
purple finch flyovers; gr. yellowlegs; 7 great blue herons; 11 common
loons; r-b and b-h nuthatches; ~500 robins southbound on day; probably a
few thousand red-winged blackbirds over in morning; a wilson's snipe; 2
flocks (32 & 62) of tundra swans.
Predictions:
Showers in morning; clearing and cooling in afternoon.
