Hello All,
After Carol taught an Audubon At Home workshop we spent two productive hours at
Bles Park in Loudoun County.
The highlights the 35 species we found follow:
GREEN HERON
BARRED OWL
RUBY THROATED HUMMINGBIRD
RED EYED VIREO
BLUE GRAY GNATCATCHER
EASTERN BLUEBIRD
CEDAR WAXWING
CHIPPING SPARROW
FIELD SPARROW
WHITE CROWNED SPARROW
INDIGO BUNTING
We were there in the late afternoon, and it was overcast and chilly. We were
surprised that we only found one warbler specie, YELLOW RUMPED, and no
shorebirds.
Good birding to all,
Jay and Carol Hadlock
