Trying to post for the second time.
Please everyone, let's not turn this into another
pro
vs. anti hunting thread. It doesn't belong on this
listserv.
I thank Lynda Blair for calling House Bill 1639 to
our
attention, as it affects many Virginia birders. I
agree with Elisabeth who said that non-hunters
deserve
one day a week to go to certain natural areas
without
being afraid of getting shot. That day has a be a
weekend day, as that's when most people have a day
off. I'm not arguing for or against hunting.
Let's not get nasty here.

money into conservation than
any other people. Many people who enjoy the right
hunt work six days aare
week. Not everyone will hunt on Sundays. There
only 11 states who ban huntingto
on Sundays and according to Virginia it is a day
give the animals a break.
Give them Wednesday.
