I visited Ellanor Lawrence Park in Chantilly today May 15th for one
hour, 8-9AM. Best birds were one BLACK-THROATED BLUE, two REDSTARTS,
and a big flock of WAXWINGS. Both warblers were on the west (left)
portion of the "North Loop" trail, towards the Northwest corner of the
park, NW of the visitor center, between Walney Road and Route 28. List
follows. I apologize for the non-standard order - I am still refining
my recording / reporting methods. E-Bird does not seem to work for me.
