VA-Birders:

Six Eared Grebes, mostly in spring colors, were seen this afternoon from
Musick's Campground at South Holston Lake.
The birds were first found near campground in Sullivan Co., TN and then swam
around the stateline point into the Spring Creek Embayment of Washington
Co., VA.

At Sequoya Cove on Lake Rd., South Holston Lake, Washington Co., VA., I
found eight Red-breasted Mergansers.  One was a male in full color.

I failed to post that on April 10, while birding in a driving rain, I had 88
Double-crested Cormortants and an Osprey near Musick's Campground in
Sullivan Co., TN.

Let's go birding....

Wallace Coffey
Bristol, TN
