This morning, I finally got a chance to take a ride to Turkey Island Rd.
in Henrico county to look for the previously reported Dickcissels. I
found 2-3 birds singing in the area near the blue gate about a mile down
the road on the left. I got great looks at 1 of these birds who was
also kind enough to pose for a few pictures. Also present were a number
of Grasshopper Sparrows. Good birding.
