Greetings to All:
This evening around 5:00 PM, I watched a Common Grackle take a part of a moth
ball that was in my backyard and rubbed it over its feathers for about 10
minutes.
It dropped the moth ball several times and would scratch with either a leg or
its bill and then pick up the moth ball and rub some more.
It looked like it even might have taken a bite off of the moth ball, shake its
head and then rubbed up under a wing with its bill.
