Folks-
I was shocked to see a lone CATTLE EGRET wandering about amongst the usual
group of gulls in a big farm field along Rte 17 near Gloucester courthouse
this morning. This field is the one on the north side of Page Middle
School. The books all say that these birds wander in spring, so I suppose
it's not as crazy as I first thought.
