Steve Williams and I led a mid-morning bird walk today at Burke Lake, on
behalf of the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT), with a principal
objective of finding a Bald Eagle - easily accomplished for the group that
chose
to go around the lake in a clockwise direction!
NVCT is a serious conserver of environmentally and historically important
places in northern Virginia, not afflicted at all with the problems recently
exposed in the Washington Post for some conservation trusts. Find out more by
visiting its web site: _www.nvct.org_ (http://www.nvct.org) .
