My wife and I drove up to Baltimore today to see the Brown Booby. What a
beautiful day even if we did not see the bird- which off course we did. We
went to the Downtown Sailing Club even though we did not have a pre-arranged
thing and they were more than happy to bring us and two other gentlemen out
to the birds - they were excited by the birds. All they ask is for a
suggested donation of $20 which is worth the trip on the water by itself.
The birds were right where they were reported - on the ropes connecting two
ships and we had beautiful views. The water taxis were also slowing down
there for people to see so that is definitely another option. At one point
a person on the ship came out and wondered what the commotion was all about
and we informed him - interesting that they did not already know.
