All,
I checked out Joe Coleman's Bobolink spot around noon today and found
many Bobolinks on both sides of the road. To reach this spot from
Snickersville Turnpike, take Yellow Schoolhouse Road south until it
meets Ebenezer Church Road. Turn right on Ebenezer Church. When the
road curves to the left, that's the fields where the birds were. There
is a sign near this spot that says Dog Branch Wetlands. Unlike the
field on Harrison Road in Fauquier County where the Bobolinks are, this
area does not appear to be in any danger of getting mowed so maybe they
will hang around for a while.
