I was rewarded for trimming the grass at the bird stream at Ft. C. F. Smith
park today. As I sat down to admire my handiwork, a beautiful flame-orange
Baltimore oriole came to the stream and, after about a minute's hesitation,
jumped in to bathe with the robins and chipping sparrows. Time was about 2:45.
