I joined Bill James for some hawkwatching at Harvey's Knob on the Blue Ridge
Parkway this afternoon. We watched from the Montvale Overlook. We had strong
SE winds and a good variety of migrating raptors. Our first BROAD-WINGS of the
season started showing up a few minutes after 5:00pm DST. Our list is as
follows:
