Yesterday morning, on my back deck next to a thistle feeder I saw a strange
bird that I hope someone can help identify.
Its shape was very similar to a house finch, only slightly larger.
It was pale yellow in color, with white rump, uppertail coverts and undertail
coverts. Eyes were black.
It was definetly not an escaped parrot or parakeet, beak and head were
finch/sparrow-like. Also its size and shape were not all consistent with a
Goldfinch (besides the shade of yellow was paler)
All I could think of is that it was an albino house finch, have camera ready if
it returns,
