In March of 2002, I posted a hawk identification exercise to the list
when an immature Cooper's Hawk made a visit to the birdbath in my back yard.
Well, yesterday another hawk paid a visit and it posed for a long time,
so I got some pictures. I've shown them to a few people and we did not
all agree on the id.
I'd like to do another identification exercise. If you would like to

Please be sure to tell me what factors lead you to the identification
choice you make. I'd also like to know what resources you refer to if any.
After I've given people a reasonable time to participate, I'll post a
summary of the inputs I get.
