Today was a very birdy day in my yard, so birdy in fact that I saw 21
species in 15 minutes pretty much standing still!
Highlights were:
Hairy Woodpecker - don't get many of these in the yard
YB Sapsucker
Brown Creeper- (has eluded me since I started birding 18 months ago and
this one almost hit me in the head, literally!)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - at least 5
E. Towhee - another uncommon yard bird
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Purple Finch - 1 female at the feeders
Tufted Titmouse - at least 6 of these, the most I have seen at once in
the yard
plus the other usual suspects...
Good Birding!
