Greetings Meridianites!

Welcome, once again, to the Log of the Year Voting segment. This
will be Meridian's third award ceremony and the log that is voted as
Number One for 2005 will join the list as year-toppers. Your
participation in this is very much appreciated as this is just as
much your simulation as it is either of the hosts.

Please note that the logs in the Ballot are the Log of the Month
Winners as well as the nominees for each month. This does not mean,
however, that these are the only logs availabe for nomination. If
you feel that another log deserves the award, please feel free to
mention this on your response.

Please! Make sure you sent your votes in a confidential e-mail to
Captain Kyle Pierce at GroundZero@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and Lt. Commander
Frankie Wilkinson at LtFWilkinson@xxxxxxxxxx

In your ballot return, please list (clearly marked) your number one
(best) choice, your number two choice, and your number three choice.
If all votes can be turned in no later than February 3rd, which is
the Friday before our Meridian celebration party.

Other awards to be given out are the July - December, 2005 Excellence
in Simming Award. Promotions are being saved until this time as
well. Log of the Month, January 2006 will also be announced on that
evening. Other awards include Best Character Development, Most
Interesting Background, Crew Interaction Award, Most Likely to Blow
the Ship Up, and Who is Least Likely to Get Their Own Captaincy.
::smiles:: Maybe not that last one.

I look forward to seeing your votes. If you have any questions
please don't hesitate to drop me an IM or reply to this e-mail. See
you all on Sunday!

- The Captain
