Note: As per a PREVIOUS Log, the INTERVIEW, "The Captain Finds a Yeoman" It was
Anderson's task to formalize a schedule to EASE the Captain's duty. Here it is.
The Captain's COMMON Schedule*
subject to CHANGE at a moment's notice.
6am - Rise and dress
6:15am - Breakfast with the family
6:45am til 7:30am - Review Communiques "For Eyes Only"
7:30am - Anderson brings PADDwork for approval
7:45am - 9:45am Dictation of Communique responses, logs, assigning special
duties. This done while doing an optional exercise (i.e.Treadmill, free weights)
9:45am - 10am Grooming as necessary
10am - Noon A stint in the BIG CHAIR
Noon - 12:30pm Coffee w/Oridian to confer on ship's status
12:30pm - 1pm Department Heads Consultations
Monday : Security
Tuesday : Science
Wednesday : Medical
Thursday: Command
Friday: Diplomatic Corps*
(* Social Functions scheduled to weekends whereever possible)
1pm - 2pm Lunch with Sarah and/or the children
2pm - 4pm Random Appointments (arranged as they come along) 8 -15 minute slots.
4pm - 6pm 2nd stint in the BIG CHAIR
6pm - 7pm Dinner with the Family
7pm - 8pm M-W-F Playtime with Rikka & Benjamin; T- TH Review Fleet Procedural
Updates.
8pm - 9pm Spend time with Rikka (alone or with Sarah)
9pm - 10pm M-W-F Diplomatic Culture Studies (Literary sources)
T-TH Quiet time with Sarah
ALL activities are dependent upon the TIME it takes to cover the materials and
conversations involved.
Saturdays - 9am - NOON Disciplinary Hearings that Merit Command attention
Noon - 4pm Holodeck Simulations of the MORE complex
Diplomatic Ceremonies. Dept Heads and necessary crew will REPORT when ordered.
Sundays - 10am - 11am Religious Observance (if desired)
Free time is at the Captain's discretion and Mission Circumstances/Status MAY
require ABANDONING this framework.
